Outlaw Song by 16 Horsepower
Another cover of a traditional folk/western song which has the rhythm that propels you to want to go out and steal a horse as “grey as the sky above” much like in the song. I need to research this song more because it is definitely a tale of crime with some definite religious overtones and conclusions. Once again there is nothing about the music that is different about 16 Horsepower or probably about the rendition of the song, but once again Edwards’ voice lends itself to a unique telling of the story within the song.
